During these uncertain times, we continue to monitor the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments closely. The health and wellbeing of our employees, partners, clients, vendors and their employees is of utmost importance to us.
GH Phipps has developed a fluid plan and is taking precise steps during this dynamic situation; our leadership team is following the guidelines established by the World Health Organization, the Center for Disease Control, and the Colorado Department of Public Health.
For our employees, we have established an internal website for our team members to keep them apprised of current developments and company communications. Any team member who experiences symptoms of any kind is required to stay home until cleared by a medical professional. Like many, we have suspended all business travel for the foreseeable future, and we have encouraged our team members to be cognizant of their personal travel. Any team member who travels to a level 3 region as identified by the CDC, will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days. We have canceled all company events through the end of April, and we are encouraging our project teams to utilize technology as an alternative for team/project meetings and eliminate any personal contact.
We have developed an Action Plan for COVID-19 exposures, in accordance with the CDC Protocols, that may occur at our office locations or project sites. We have implemented more frequent stringent cleaning and housekeeping requirements at all our project sites and offices. We are closely monitoring impacts to material and product availability due to supply chain disruption. Our project teams will specifically inform those project sites of any delays.
GH Phipps is committed to providing a safe work environment, for our employees and partners and to sustain our normal business operations with priority on these protocols. As this is a very dynamic situation, our recommendations and response may change as new information and circumstances present themselves.
We are committed to working with our clients, partners and project team(s) to address any issues or concerns raised by this unprecedented event. On behalf of our project teams we do not take lightly the trust our clients and partners have placed in us to not only deliver projects, but to keep employees and customers safe during construction.
