GH Phipps Acquires Delta Construction, Inc.
Addition gives Colorado company more depth and capabilities in Wyoming market
Greenwood Village, Colo., – GH Phipps Construction Companies, one of the largest construction companies in the Rocky Mountain region, acquired Delta Construction, Inc., a Wyoming corporation, on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010. The transaction will make Delta Construction, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of GH Phipps Construction Companies. The Wyoming-founded company will continue to operate out of its Laramie office under its current name.
The acquisition of Delta Construction, Inc. is a part of GH Phipps Construction Companies’ long-term growth strategy, and enables the company to increase its capabilities within additional vertical markets such as hospitality and multi-family apartment complexes.

GH Phipps Construction will provide supplemental resources and experience to the Delta Construction, Inc. team to allow the company to go after additional and larger projects in the Wyoming market. Furthermore, the acquisition is the first step in diversification for GH Phipps Construction that will allow for more stability through market fluctuations.

Delta Construction, Inc. has a 35-year history as a commercial general contractor, working on projects throughout Wyoming. Because of its strong relationships in the market and proven track record, Delta Construction, Inc. will remain in its Laramie office.
Both Delta Construction, Inc. and GH Phipps will continue to use the same vendors and partners, as each maintains strong relationships within their operational networks.
