mgmt-rogertreichler.jpgRoger Treichler began working with GH Phipps in 1996, and since then has served in many capacities. He has worked in the Preconstruction Department and the Operations Department on both small and large projects. For the past nine years, Roger served as the Director of Special Projects.

Roger’s promotion to Vice President of Operations for our Denver office is based on his leadership experience, which will serve as the foundation for managing some of the most complex logistics of the company.

During his time leading special projects, Roger worked to expand its reach. GH Phipps has supported the program since its founding, but it has become a major resource for long-time clients, as well as a division that seeks out new clients and demonstrates GH Phipps’ work ethic and innovative approaches. Over a nine-year period, Roger presided over $349 million dollars’ worth of work put in place by this division, performing some 200 projects per year. As a result, Roger gained vast experience successfully directing many teams in a variety of project types and settings, instilling confidence and trust in our clients for selecting GH Phipps.

Roger graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary social studies and history from the State University of New York at Cortland. He worked in civil engineering for the Town of Lewiston, New York and taught before moving to Colorado and joining GH Phipps. He maintains a LEED AP BD+C, is ASHE Certified, and has served on the GH Phipps Board of Directors since 2011.

“Our approach on the Operations team at Phipps is, ‘We won’t tell you what you can’t do. We will tell you what you can do.’ We always look for what is possible, and if there’s something in the way, how do we work around it or resolve it?”

Roger lives in Arvada with his wife and dog, and in his off-work hours enjoys playing ice hockey and skiing.
